About our speaker:
Emily Bouchard, MSSW, Managing Partner of Wealth Legacy Group, is a specialist in building strong, lasting relationships that allow people to thrive in their lives. For over 20 years Emily has worked with children, individuals, couples and families building skills to overcome significant challenges. In 2003, she founded Blended-Families, LLC, where expert coaches make a positive difference in the lives of thousands of stepfamilies. A leading expert in the field, Emily has been featured on numerous TV and Radio shows including The Today Show and NPR, and has been quoted in print around the world, in publications such as Newsweek and The New York Times.
Emily is also proficient in understanding the impact of wealth on individuals and their intimate relationships. Since 2004, Emily has been facilitating communication and trust with ultra-wealthy families worth $25 million or more. Her approach to coaching brings people to an understanding of internal barriers that keep them from feeling fulfilled in their lives. She has the unique ability to swiftly and gently address the heart of the matter.
As a Certified Money Coach, Emily uses a step-by-step core process to build awareness for clients about their beliefs and conditioned tendencies related to money and wealth. Through this process, clients break free of life-long patterns and develop the skills they need to be fully conscious and empowered around money. She became managing partner of Wealth Legacy Group in 2010, where she facilitates the Rich Life PortfolioTM, as well as groups for women of wealth and blended families. She also consults with advisors on effectively working with their clients on the qualitative side of planning.
Emily earned a B.A. with honors in the Psychological and Sociological Development of the Child from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Along with her coaching practice, she has authored several ebooks and speaks on issues related to wealth psychology. Her book, co-authored with Paul Hood, is titled Estate Planning for the Blended Family.
